Having several straps on hand can be a good idea if you want to change up your look frequently. You may also need a new one if yours breaks. In that case, it’s not always easy to know which model to choose.

Watch Strap: How to Choose One
When choosing a watch band, it’s a good idea to consider a few factors. First, we recommend paying attention to the width of the watch band. There are various sizes available. You can measure your wrist with a tape measure to determine whether it fits a 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, or 24mm strap. If your strap width or the distance between the lugs is 18mm, you’ll need to choose a strap of that width. The width of the buckle, however, may vary. It is generally slightly narrower than the lug-to-lug width. You’ll often find a 2mm difference between these two measurements. A 22mm strap width will therefore be suitable for a 20mm buckle width. As for the length of your watch strap, there are several options. The standard length is approximately 20 cm, the short length is 8 cm, the medium length is 18 cm, and the XL length is 22 cm.
To detach the strap from your watch, we recommend using a strap-removal tool designed for this purpose. We do not recommend using a screwdriver, as this may damage your watch. Next, place your watch flat on a non-slip surface. We recommend inserting the prong tool between the band and the lug of the watch case. Then, hook the spring bar to release the band from its pins by tilting it outward. Regardless of the material of your watchband, the pry tool will be just as effective. To attach your watchband, the bar tool will be a valuable aid. Slide the spring bar into your new watchband, then insert it between the two lugs. Using a thin pry tool, you can activate the spring to secure your watchband between the two lugs.
