The Majetek Big Turtle 3-Hand Pilot's Watch - Black Leather by M.R.M.W. is a faithful reproduction of the Majetek pilot's watch, which was commissioned by the Czechoslovak Army between 1935 and 1945 from major manufacturers such as Longines, Eterna, and Lemania. The “Big Turtle” variant, originally from Longines, is distinguished by its highly decorative design, featuring a rotating bezel with a triangular tip for measuring elapsed time, a rotating coin bezel, cobra hands, and Y-shaped lugs. The screw-down caseback faithfully reproduces the original, featuring engraved crossed swords symbolizing military ownership and the courage of the Czech pilots who, following the German occupation, joined the British Royal Air Force to fight. The dial pays homage to Eterna’s design with smaller numerals, a central seconds hand, a simplified layout, the brand logo at 12 o’clock, “ANTI-MAGNETIC” below the center, and numbers every 10 seconds on the minute track.
