Somewhere at a point break, as the sun first rises.
The Club Series · Episode 8
Some watches smell like sunscreen and wet neoprene. Born on the beaches of California, worn on skateboards just as much as underwater, Nixon watches have turned summer into a year-round playground. The eighth installment in our series.
Nixon was founded in 1998 in Encinitas, California, with a simple idea: to design watches for those who live outdoors, between surfing and skateboarding. Initially sold in surf shops and built for the water and the pavement, they quickly became a symbol of action sports culture. Today, the collection is at the Club—from the iconic Time Teller to the monumental 51-30 chronograph.
Born in the wake of the waves

At Nixon, water is never far away. The brand has built its legacy on watches capable of accompanying a surfer right into the wave: serious water resistance, instant readability, and materials that can withstand salt and sun. The Sentry Solar recharges in daylight, the Siren dives without hesitation, and the large 51-30 chronograph remains one of the most recognizable watch cases in the surfing world. Watches designed for summer—plain and simple.

The Skate Culture, From the Sidewalk to the Nightlife

The other half of Nixon's DNA is skateboarding and urban culture. Here, the watch becomes as much a style accessory as it is a practical tool: the minimalist Time Teller transitions seamlessly from the beach to the city streets; the Staple embraces a clean, simple design; and the Regulus is built to take a beating. These are bold, laid-back pieces that pair perfectly with a T-shirt and sunglasses, setting the tone for a carefree summer.
For her
Sleek lines and cases designed for use in water: the Siren, the quintessential women’s diving watch, stands alongside the minimalist and luminous Time Teller and Kensington models.
For him
From the iconic Time Teller to the Station chronograph, including the Sentry Solar and the rugged Corporal: the men's collection covers every summer setting, from the patio to the lineup.

Some models are available for pre-order: they’ll ship within two to three weeks, directly from the Nixon workshops. That way, you can pick out your summer watch without having to wait for it to sell out.
