Since 2010, Eco Tempo has been collecting used or unsold watches and jewelry from residents and businesses to be recycled or reused.

Each year, more than 10 million watches are sold on the French market; 95% of a watch’s weight can be recycled.

In Eco Tempo’s workshops, watches are disassembled one by one by employees with disabilities who are trained and supported by qualified watchmakers, and then each component is carefully sorted. Parts that can be reused for repairs or new creations are set aside, while worn-out parts are sorted by material and are destined to be transformed into raw materials (metals, plastics, textiles, etc.).

By reusing whatever can be reused and turning existing products into raw materials, Eco Tempo helps reduce the use of natural resources in the manufacture of new watches and jewelry.
