In 2017, Klokers introduced the 08 for men and women, paying a special tribute to the 1960s, from which it drew its aesthetic cues related to the pop art movement, art, design, and fashion. Building on the concept of the coplanar dial, the geometric design of the hemispherical case features rounded shapes typical of the Space Age.
At the center is a creamy white dial, topped in the center by an orange disc—a color symbolic of the “Pop Art” era. Through this combination, the dial embodies the dynamism and rebellious modernity of the 1960s, foreshadowing postmodernism.
