In 2015, Klokers designed the iconic klok-01, drawing inspiration from the circular slide rule invented in 1630.
Designed as a timekeeping instrument, the dial consists of three coplanar, graduated discs whose chronometric markings evocatively recall mathematical calculation instruments. With its simple form, the straight-sided case stands out for its utilitarian logic and conveys a sense of balance and pleasure.
Créée dans les années 1930 pour aider les pilotes d'avion à l’estime, la règle à calcul circulaire inspire la klok-01 et se pare élégamment d’un cadran bleu azur et de blanc. Mariage de calme et de sérénité, le bleu azuréen ponctue l’espace immaculé du cadran et rappelle subtilement les navigations au long cours des aviateurs.
