In 2015, Klokers designed the iconic klok-01, drawing inspiration from the circular slide rule invented in 1630.
Designed as a timekeeping instrument, the dial consists of three coplanar, graduated discs whose chronometric markings evocatively recall mathematical calculation instruments. With its simple form, the straight-sided case stands out for its utilitarian logic and conveys a sense of balance and pleasure.
The milky white dial features precise chronograph markings. More than just its own color, the granite-gray central disc and the combination with the white dial play on the perception of the shade’s lightness or darkness, depending on the surrounding lighting. This version of the klok-01 exudes futurism with restraint and calm.
