In 2015, Klokers designed the iconic klok-01, drawing inspiration from the circular slide rule invented in 1630.
Designed as a timekeeping instrument, the dial consists of three coplanar, graduated discs whose chronometric markings evocatively recall mathematical calculation instruments. With its simple form, the straight-sided case stands out for its utilitarian logic and conveys a sense of balance and pleasure.
At the center of the crystal, where the magnifying lens begins, a yellow disc defines the design’s overall aesthetic, adds brilliance, and powerfully highlights the character of this timepiece that has become timeless.
