TheNAUTIC-OCEANis crafted from 316L stainless steel and is water-resistant to 20 bar thanks to a screw-down case back and crown. It features a dive time indicator via an inner rotating bezel that can be adjusted using the second crown at the 2 o’clock position. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, this timepiece features an automatic movement with three hands and a date display, as well as large hour markers and white luminescent hands that stand out against the dial’s background.

Featuring a sporty design, this watch’s case measures 41 millimeters in diameter and 15.2 millimeters in thickness. It is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a high-gloss polished finish. Designed specifically for men’s wrists, this timepiece offers exceptional comfort. Its sturdy sapphire crystal protects it from scratches and impacts. At the 2 o’clock position, you’ll find a crown for adjusting the inner bezel, and at the 4 o’clock position, another crown for setting the hands and the date window. Its transparent screw-down case back allows you to admire the watch’s movement. The Grande Nautic Océan watch strap is made of black Tropic. The lug-to-lug width measures 20 mm in diameter, allowing you to wear this watch on any occasion. Fastened with a steel pin buckle, the strap adjusts perfectly to the size of your wrist and provides a secure fit. 

The dial is round with a dark blue sunburst finish and subtle shading. The hour and minute hands are silver-tone baton-style, while the second hand is blue. Of particular note is the second hand, which features a rectangular running indicator. The hour markers are baton-shaped, with the 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock positions marked by Arabic numerals. The hour marker at 3 o’clock has been replaced by the date window. To ensure visibility both day and night, the hour markers are coated with a luminescent treatment that allows you to read the time at all times, even in the depths of the ocean. On the dial, the logo of the French brand LIP appears below the 12 o’clock hour marker. At 6 o’clock, the brand pays homage to its origins and identifies the watch by its collection, water resistance, and country of origin. 

The Grande Nautic Océan is equipped with a Japanese-made Miyota 8215 automatic movement with 21 jewels. To ensure the movement operates properly, it has a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 40 hours. Finally, this model features a manual-winding mechanism via the crown and a quick-set date function.

This exceptional timepiece is water-resistant to 20 ATM, which places it in the category of diving watches. As a result, it is suitable for wear in the water. Its water resistance allows you to go scuba diving, but we do not recommend engaging in extreme diving with this model. Similarly, we advise against using the push buttons while in the water to ensure the watch remains water-resistant. For professional divers seeking a model suitable for very deep-water diving, we recommend choosing a model that is water-resistant to 30 ATM or higher.
