It was then that an extraordinary expedition made history and captured the world’s attention. In 1954, French mountaineer Maurice Herzog and his team made the first ascent of Annapurna, one of the highest peaks in the Himalayas.
This epic feat caught the attention of Fred Lip, a descendant of the brand’s founding family, and his team of watchmakers.
