LIP Watch - Nautic 3 - Diver's Watch - Automatic, 39 mm
Special Edition: French Fire Department
The path to becoming a Rescue Diver with the Fire Department is marked by rigorous technical, physical, and theoretical tests. Passing these tests is crucial, as it determines eligibility for the position of Light Autonomous Diver. This diver operates in underwater or hyperbaric environments, diving to depths ranging from 20 to 60 meters.
In this demanding operational environment, LIP has developed two watch models specifically designed for lifeguards and divers. These watches, clearly marked on the dial, are water-resistant to 200 meters and offer optimal readability thanks to a powerful Luminova coating on the hour markers and hands.

Description
This professional diving watch, proudly bearing the title “Special Edition for the French Fire Department,” is an exceptional timepiece crafted with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding quality. Its 316L stainless steel case, precision-satin-finished and polished on the bevels and bezel, measures 39 mm in diameter and 13.2 mm in thickness, while the lug-to-lug width is 20 mm, ensuring a robust yet elegant presence on the wrist.
The transparent case back, carefully screwed into place, is engraved with the distinctive "Nageur-Sauveteur" inscription, offering a captivating view of the movement inside. The black dial, delicately embossed with the "Nageur-Sauveteur" logo, features hour markers and hands coated with Luminova, illuminating the underwater world with optimal readability. The touch of orange, inspired by the Pantone color of the Fire Department, lends a bold elegance to the overall design.
The unidirectional rotating bezel, featuring metal detents, symbolizes the functionality and precision inherent in every dive. The screw-down crown ensures a perfect water seal, while the 3-mm sapphire crystal—domed on both the inside and outside and treated with an anti-reflective coating—guarantees flawless clarity in all conditions.
The perforated tropical orange rubber strap, featuring a pin buckle, combines comfort and durability to support the rescue diver during their most demanding missions. The mechanical, self-winding G100 movement from La Joux-Perret, assembled in Besançon, is equipped with a regulating mechanism that delivers a frequency of 28,800 alt/h and an impressive power reserve of 68 hours when fully wound.
The meticulous craftsmanship of this watch is evident in refined details such as blued screws, a diamond-polished bezel, and Geneva stripes. Features include a three-hand display with a date, designed to meet the practical needs of professional divers.
With a certified water resistance of 200 meters, this diving watch is much more than just a timekeeping instrument. It is a reliable companion on perilous missions, embodying French watchmaking expertise through meticulous craftsmanship in Besançon.
