How to Care for Your Automatic Watch?
An automatic watch has the advantage of requiring very little maintenance. The first of these is that it operates without a battery.
Be sure, however, to have your automatic watch serviced about every three to five years. Some models, however, can run for long periods—nearly 20 years—without any servicing.
Protect your automatic watch from potential impacts, especially from being dropped. Water can also be a real threat if you don’t check the maximum depth to which your automatic watch remains water-resistant. The Patrouille de France Athos 5 Premier Solo Pilot’s Watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters without compromising its water resistance. Made of stainless steel, robust and durable, and equipped with an exceptionally precise movement, this automatic watch will serve you well for many hours to come.
To wind your automatic watch, it’s best to take it off first so as not to damage the corner of the crown. As soon as you feel resistance when turning the crown, stop, as you could damage the balance wheel.
Finally, please note that our automatic watches come with a two-year warranty. You’ll also enjoy free shipping throughout mainland France.
