LIP Watch - Himalaya 40 mm - Courage - Blue, White, Red

Discover the Lip Himalaya “Courage” watch, created in partnership with the National Federation of French Firefighters (FNSPF). This timepiece was designed specifically to accompany these exceptional individuals during their emergency response missions: firefighters, doctors, nurses, and first responders. It features a round case made of 316L stainless steel. Measuring 40 mm, this timepiece is suitable for both men and women and will be your daily companion. On the right side, you’ll find two push buttons and a winding crown, allowing you to take vital signs with great precision. To round out its capabilities, this Lip Courage model is water-resistant to 10 ATM, so you can wear it in the water. 

A true watch for first responders, this model allows for precise measurements of vital signs. To measure your heart rate and respiratory rate, press the push button located at the 2 o’clock position. It will then count 15 heartbeats; stop the chronograph by pressing the top button again. Refer to the red index on the right side of the dial and the red hand; this will show you the number of heartbeats per minute. To take the next set of measurements, reset the dual hand to 0 by pressing the middle button at the 4 o’clock position. Once you’ve done this, press the push button at the 2 o’clock position again. Count 5 breaths and stop the chronograph with the top push button. Refer to the blue index mark on the left and the blue hand to determine the number of breaths per minute. 

The dial of this watch is round. The white background makes the respiratory measurement markers stand out more clearly, ensuring greater accuracy. In the center of the watch, you’ll find two silver “Dauphine”-style hands that indicate the hours and minutes. They are luminescent for visibility even at night. The hour markers are baton-shaped, except for the 2, 4, 8, 10, and 12 o’clock positions, which feature Arabic numerals for better readability. At the 6 o’clock position, the hour marker has been replaced by a date window. One final distinctive feature: this watch’s dial features two additional hands—one blue and one red—that allow you to easily measure your respiratory and heart rates. At 12 o’clock, you’ll find the glass quality marking; at 6 o’clock, above the date window, the motto “Resolution and Courage,” as well as the watch’s country of origin. Finally, the respiratory rate indicator is at 9 o’clock, and the heart rate indicator is at 3 o’clock. 

This watch is equipped with a Miyota OS21-caliber quartz movement. 

With this Lip Courage model, you can choose between two straps. The first is a NATO strap in the colors of the French flag—blue, white, and red—to emphasize its patriotic theme. The second is a blue silicone strap that’s very comfortable to wear. Both straps feature a silver pin buckle that allows you to easily adjust the strap to fit your wrist. 

To round out this watch’s performance, it is water-resistant to 10 ATM, making it a water-resistant timepiece. So you’ll have no problem wearing it in the water, whether in the shower or at the pool.
